The Paper. Open Edition Prints

Giclée printed by theprintspace on Hahnemühle German Etching 310gsm—a heavyweight, museum-grade fine art paper with a warm white tone and a pronounced, velvety texture. The paper’s surface holds more pigment, giving rich, saturated colour and deep blacks with superb micro-detail and tonal gradation. It’s acid- and lignin-free and ISO 9706 compliant for archival longevity, with a matte finish that minimizes glare and enhances the artwork’s tactile, hand-crafted feel.

Open Edition Print Inks and Giclée Printing Details

Printed using archival pigment inks on Epson SureColor P-series printers, delivering exceptionally wide gamut, smooth tonal gradations and crisp micro-detail. The Epson UltraChrome HDX ink technology used in these printers is engineered for long-term stability; independent testing (paper-dependent) reports very high permanence ratings for colour and black-and-white prints

Open Edition - Unframed

The prints available to purchase online on this shop are all open edition versions at a A2  (with a +_ 300mm white border). They ship with a certificate of authenticity. I also offer a limited edition (of 11) hand signed and numbered prints in large size exclusively through galleries or on request.

A2 White Frame

  • Glazing: 2 mm edge-ground float glass with ~45 % UV protection (acrylic for XL sizes only)
  • Profile: 16 mm face × 25 mm depth, clean minimal edge with hanging fittings included

A2 Black Frame

  • Material: Nielsen Quadrum solid wood (FSC-certified) with a matte black painted finish
  • Glazing: 2 mm edge-ground float glass with ~45 % UV protection (acrylic for XL sizes only)
  • Profile: 16 mm face × 25 mm depth, sleek gallery-style profile with secure hanging system

Orders are professionally packed by theprintspace for safe transit. Depending on size, paper, and order volume, prints ship flat in reinforced envelopes or rolled in sturdy tubes. Materials are recyclable or biodegradable. 

Open Edition Prints - Shipping

Prints are fulfilled by theprintspace’s labs in London (UK), Düsseldorf (EU) and Brooklyn (USA) to reduce transit times and border delays. Typical delivery windows are ~6–10 working days after dispatch, depending on destination. Customs & import duties: for most orders delivered within the UK, EU and USA, local production means no border charges; for other destinations, the recipient is responsible for any applicable duties and taxes.

Open Edition Prints - General Disclaimer

Made to order: Each print is produced on demand; minor variations in colour, tone, and crop may occur due to screen-to-print differences and the hand-finished nature of fine art printing.

Sizes & trims: Listed sizes refer to paper size. Image area, borders, and trims may vary slightly to preserve the artwork’s composition.

Packaging: Packaging format (flat or tube) is chosen to best protect the work in transit and may vary by size and destination.

Production & delivery: Production and shipping timeframes are estimates only and can be affected by carrier delays, customs processing, and seasonal demand.

Duties & taxes: For deliveries outside the customer’s customs union/region, the recipient is responsible for all applicable import duties, taxes, and fees.

Damage in transit: Please inspect your order on arrival. If damaged, contact us within 7 days with photos of the item and packaging so we can arrange a replacement.

Returns: As prints are made to order, we can’t accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. Faulty or damaged items will be replaced in line with your statutory rights.

Care: Handle prints with clean, dry hands and avoid direct sunlight, humidity, and heat sources. Framing behind UV-protective glazing is recommended.

Made-To-Order Prints

Every print is produced on demand for your order. We can’t accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.

Damages & Defects

If your print arrives damaged or with a production defect, please email studio.11h21@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with clear photos of the item and its packaging. We’ll arrange a free replacement via our production partner (theprintspace). We may ask you to return the damaged item for inspection.

Lost or Significantly Delayed Shipments

If a shipment is lost or delayed beyond normal carrier timeframes, contact us and we’ll organise a replacement.

Change-Of-Mind Refunds (discretionary)

Refunds for reasons other than damage/defect are at our discretion. If approved, the item must be returned unused and in original packaging. Fulfilment and original shipping costs are non-refundable. The customer is responsible for return shipping.

Customs & Duties

For deliveries outside the recipient’s customs area, the recipient is responsible for any import duties, taxes, and fees.

How to Report an Issue

Email studio.11h21@gmail.com with your order number, photos, and a brief description. We’ll coordinate the reprint/replacement and keep you updated.
