Art Procurement for Interiors
For interior designers, architects and hospitality projects
I supply archival photographic prints to interior designers, architects and art consultants specifying work for hospitality, corporate and residential projects.
The work is minimal, and largely concerned with the intersections between the built environment and the natural one - which makes it sit well in urban interiors without competing with them. Most of it is made between The Hague, Rotterdam, the Cape Peninsula and the Karoo, so for projects in those regions it carries genuine local specificity rather than stock atmosphere.
Which Series Suit Interiors
Gossamer Coastline — abstract twilight seascapes made with intentional camera movement and long exposure. Soft-toned, non-figurative, and the most widely specified of the series: it works at scale, sits inside a palette rather than fighting it, and imposes no subject on a room. The natural first choice for hospitality and wellness interiors.
Deep South — black and white coastal landscape from the southern Cape Peninsula. Stark, high-contrast and graphic. Suits corporate interiors and hotels wanting drama rather than calm, and it holds at very large scale.
Scheveningen — colour work along the North Sea coast at The Hague. Suited to projects with a local anchor, and to spaces that can carry a recognisable place.
Rotterdam — graphic black and white architecture. Strong in corporate and commercial interiors, and in developments where the building itself is the subject.
The Little Karoo — minimal black and white landscape from the Western Cape. Quiet, horizontal, and effective in long corridors and circulation spaces.
Editions and Commercial Supply
Prints supplied for interior and hospitality projects are produced as custom open editions: made to the size, paper or substrate the space requires, unsigned, and not part of any numbered edition.
Every image in the archive is available on this basis, including works also held as signed limited editions.
Selected works are additionally produced as hand-signed limited editions in large format, eleven at 70 × 100 cm, five at 100 × 140 cm.
An edition is the signed, numbered object in a stated format; a commercial print of the same image at another size is neither, and does not affect the edition.
Site Exclusivity
Where a project requires it, specified images can be withheld from commercial supply within a defined radius, or across a hotel group, for an agreed term. Quoted per project.
Formats and Substrates
Every piece is made to order, so size, material and finish are open. Nothing in this catalogue is a fixed format.
Suggested as standard
Giclée pigment print on Hahnemühle Pearl, framed in FSC-certified Nielsen Quadrum solid wood with UV-protective glazing. Suits most interiors and holds detail at scale.
Also available
Alternative fine art and baryta papers · dibond and aluminium composite · face-mounted acrylic · box frame · canvas · unframed for your own framer · custom sizes to the limit of each file
On consultation
Tell me about the space. Include wall dimensions, lighting, palette, viewing distance and humidity so that I can recommend a specification and supply in-situ visuals. No charge, and it's usually faster than working from a list.
Orientation and Format Variants
Most works are held in both vertical and horizontal crops. A single image can be adapted to a fixed wall dimension without compromising the composition, which means a work can anchor a space regardless of the physical constraints of the site.
Commercial Licensing
For larger hospitality and corporate projects I offer flexible licensing — use of the photography in digital collateral, site signage, wayfinding, or as a recurring brand narrative across multiple locations. Quoted by application, duration and territory.
Bespoke Commissions
Alongside the existing archive I am available for site-specific commissions - bespoke photographic assignments with your specific art needs and specs built in.
Trade Terms
Trade terms apply from ten pieces. Discount is applied to the artwork value; framing, mounting and specialist substrates are supplied at cost plus handling and are not discounted.
Mixed sizes within one project count toward the same tier. Projects are quoted individually - send the schedule and I will price it against the specification.
Terms. 50% on order confirmation, 50% before despatch. Net 30 available to established practices from the second project. Quotations valid 30 days.
Every image in the archive is available for specification, including works held as signed limited editions. The edition is the signed, numbered object in a stated format; prints produced at other sizes for a project are unsigned and outside any edition.
Signed limited editions are also available as feature pieces - reception, lobby, a signature suite. Full price, never discounted, with a 20% consultant commission.
A 34-room boutique hotel: 34 framed pieces in guest rooms, 6 large-format works in corridors and lift lobbies, one signed limited edition in reception. Approximately €19,000 excluding VAT, delivered in ten working days.
