The Series

Scheveningen Urbanisms — an ongoing documentary study of the Dutch North Sea coast at The Hague. Concrete sea defences, the Pier, the boulevard and the flat northern light.

Rotterdam Streets — graphic studies of the city centre and waterfront. The Erasmusbrug, the Willemsbrug, Centraal Station and the geometry of a rebuilt city.

The Little Karoo — minimal landscape work from the semi-arid interior of South Africa. Empty road, mountain pass and the particular emptiness of the Klein Karoo.

Gossamer Coastline — intentional camera movement seascapes made along the Cape coast, where long exposure and deliberate motion reduce the ocean to bands of colour and tone.

How the Prints Are Made

Prints are produced as giclée pigment prints on Hahnemühle Pearl, a fine art paper chosen for its depth of black — important for work that depends on strong contrast and clean tonal separation. Pigment inks on cotton-based archival stock carry a rated permanence far beyond conventional photographic paper, and will not shift or fade under normal domestic lighting.

Framing is solid wood from sustainable sources, in white, black or natural oak, manufactured to gallery standards and supplied ready to hang with fittings fitted.

Sizes, Framing and Editions

Open edition prints are available in two framed sizes and are produced on demand, with no fixed print run. Each is supplied with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

Limited editions are hand-signed and numbered in an edition of eleven, produced in large format only, and priced on an ascending scale as the edition sells. They are available on request and through galleries. An edition of eleven is unusually small — most photographic editions run to twenty-five or fifty — and is intended for collectors and for significant interior projects.

Delivery, Customs and Packaging

Prints are produced by theprintspace at the laboratory closest to the delivery address — London, Düsseldorf or New York. Typical production and delivery is six to ten working days.

Because production is local, orders within the United Kingdom, European Union and United States arrive with no customs charges or import duties. Tracked shipping is calculated at checkout. All work ships in sustainable packaging.

Commissions and Interiors

Images from all four series are available to licence for hospitality, corporate and residential interior projects, including custom sizes beyond those listed and multi-image specification. Trade terms apply from ten pieces.
