My practice is built on the frame and the story within it. I generally aim to discover the narrative that defines the space, place or product. The approach is quiet and intentional. I specialise in low impact shoots for independent brands and creative practices. My style is creative, editorial, truthfull.

Architectural and Interior Photography.
A record of the built form. I work with architects and designers in The Netherlands and South Africa. The focus is on spatial narrative. I document how light moves through a structure. Regular portfolio work for award winning practices.
Reportage, Portraiture and Travel.
Editorial stories for magazines and brands. Authentic moments. I move between Cape Town and The Hague to capture people and place. No artifice. Just the lens and the subject. From travel narratives to the character of the individual.
Food and Still Life.
Imagery for the table and the kitchen. I have worked on award winning cookbooks and with global brands. I prefer the textures of the real. Studio and flash experience is high but the result is always editorial. The story of the ingredient.
Digital Strategy and Design.
The extension of the visual record. Social media content and design. Soon to include web design and desktop publishing. I help independent brands find a clear voice in a loud world. Creative direction with a focus on longevity.
